Ancora House School - Community Site
Ancora House School - community site, is part of Ancora House School based at Castle Park House, Frodsham. Ancora House School, Community Site provides a range of educational support for young people within the Cheshire West and Chester locality who cannot attend their home school due to medical needs. The school offers core subjects; English, Maths, Science ,PHSE, SRE, Careers as well as a variety of different wellbeing and skill based groups including STEM and Art.
In addition to our curriculum some young people may be offered access to emotional literacy support (ELSA) from our qualified advisor.
The school operates between 10.00am and 3.00pm, young people attend on a needs led basis, some young people access fulltime whilst others access certain elements of the provision.
Learners are referred to the Access and Outreach Team by their home school for Medical Needs education. The school also has places commissioned by the Virtual School.
